McLean, Va., February 28, 2023 – Numeracle™ Inc. (“Numeracle” or “the Company”), the pioneer of Verified Identity™ for communications, today announced its membership in the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (“GLEIF”) Vendor and Services Providers Relationship Group.
The GLEIF Vendor and Services Providers Relationship Group is composed of representative organizations of relevant data and technology vendors and services providers providing Legal Entity Identifier (“LEI”) data to their customers in their products across the globe. The creator of the first Entity Identity Management™ platform for communications, Numeracle developed the first Know Your Customer-based (“KYC”) framework specifically for the purpose of establishing trust in communications identity.
A globally recognized and accredited vetting organization, GLEIF is the only global online source that provides open, standardized, high-quality legal entity reference data. Numeracle and GLEIF share a common vision to make entity vetting and verification processes readily available to deploy within any organization to validate the identity of every entity and the entity’s ownership structure.
"GLEIF believes that each business worldwide should be clearly identifiable,” said Stephan Wolf, Chief Executive Officer, GLEIF. “With GLEIF’s focus on mitigating identity fraud, expanding uses of the LEI to new industries like communications has never been more important. We welcome Numeracle to our Vendor and Services Providers Relationship Group to continue our work to restore trustworthiness and transparency to business interactions through identity together.”
"GLEIF has long been a leader in establishing standard business identifiers in support of KYC programs in the financial industry," said Sarah Delphey, VP of Trust Solutions, Numeracle. “We work best when we work together to create value for businesses looking to know their customers. Through our participation in the Vendor and Services Providers Relationship Group, we are excited to join the member organizations and our new partners at GLEIF to collaboratively expand and adapt the use of business identifiers in communications and other industries.”
Rebekah Johnson, Founder and CEO, Numeracle said, “We’re excited to continue our work with GLEIF, from the groundwork we’ve laid in our joint recommendation to the FCC in support of LEIs to adoption in the standards. Together, with its member organizations, we look forward to innovating on a global scale to establish an end-to-end trust ecosystem, with identity as the cornerstone.”
